CADSWES, University of Colorado at Boulder
February 24-25, 2004

The 2004 RiverWare User Group Meeting will take place on the University of Colorado Campus in the Discovery Learning Center Bechtel Collaboratory, located at the Engineering Center.

Maps and other information about getting to Boulder:

The map to your left shows the relative locations of the Boulder Outlook Hotel (see Accommodations for hotel information) and the CU Engineering Center.

The Boulder Outlook Hotel is located on the 28th St./US 36 Frontage Road which runs from Baseline Road to Colorado Avenue. When driving into Boulder on US 36, take the second Boulder/University of Colorado exit which is also marked as the Baseline exit. From the middle lane of the exit ramp, proceed across Baseline Road, keeping to the right to avoid returning to US 36. At the stop sign turn left onto the 28th St. frontage road. The Boulder Outlook Hotel will be the second hotel on your right.

The Engineering Center is located on the Southwest corner of Regent Drive and Colorado Avenue.
  • The Boulder Outlook Hotel is 0.5 mile walk from the Engineering Center. A pedestrian walkway is provided to cross under 28th St./US 36 from the hotel to campus.

  • If you prefer to drive to the Engineer Center from the Boulder Outlook Hotel, turn right onto the 28th Street frontage road from the hotel parking lot, and then turn left onto the 28th access in front of the Super 8 Motel. Move quickly to the left lane to turn left on Colorado Ave, then left on Regent Dr.

Lot 436 is the least expensive parking option for those attending the RiverWare Users Meeting. Located directly across Regent Drive from the Engineering Center, lot 436 includes the adjoining parking structure. You must purchase a parking permit at Parking Services, which is located in the building that fronts the parking structure and faces Regent Drive. Parking permits for lot 436 are daily or weekly only. A weeklong parking permit for lot 436 is less expensive than 2 single-day parking passes: $8.50 weekly vs. $5 per day.
