Objects
The following changes have been made to RiverWare simulation objects.
Power Reservoirs
The following changes were made to the power reservoirs (Level Power, Slope Power, and Pumped Storage).
Peak and Base Power Method
Base Flow is now a dispatch slot and can be input or set by a rule. If the slot is not input or set by a rule, the value is looked up on the Base Flow Table. Also, a new slot, Base Power, was added. This dispatch series slot can also be input or set by a rule. If it is not specified, it is set to the value in the Off Peak Capacity table slot.
For more information, see Peak and Base in Objects and Methods.
Unit Power Table Columns
In the Unit Power Table method in the Power category, you are now able to interactively add or remove blocks from the following slots
• Unit Power Table
• Unit Is Generating
• Unit Energy
• Unit Power
• Unit Turbine Release
This functionality allows you to clean up these slots if you reduce the number of units.
Also, the two generated slots, Auto Unit Max Turbine Q Table and Auto Unit Best Turbine Q Table are now completely rebuilt at the beginning of each run based on the number of units and data in the Unit Power Table.
For more information, see Unit Power Table in Objects and Methods.
Reservoirs - Diversion Power Efficiency Curve Error Checking
Within the reservoir method “Diversion Power Efficiency Curve,” the error checking was loosened to prevent incorrect error messages when checking maximum Diversion Turbine Flow.
