How Objects Are Described
This section describes slots, methods, and constraints used by the following objects in Optimization. The following information is provided for each object.
• General Slots—These slots always exist on the object when the Optimization controller is selected, regardless of selected methods. See General Slots in Objects and Methods for details about general Simulation slots.
• User Methods—Used to specify how a feature is to be represented.
• Numerical Approximations—Describe how variables are replaced or approximated.
• Modeling the object—Instructions for building a model of each object.
