Configuring Color Alerts
This section includes procedures for configuring alerts to show when values have either exceeded a defined threshold or meet a specified condition. A color alert is an indicator that operators might need to investigate further.
There are two approaches for configuring color alerts. The first is to use thresholds to define intervals. For example, you can define Normal, High, and Extra High intervals for a slot and assign text and cell color changes that provide a visual indicator that the slot value has exceeded the threshold you have defined. The second approach is to use SCT condition functions. You can define customized RPL functions, and if a function evaluates to true, the text and cell color are set based on the color associated with that condition.
