Release Notes RiverSMART 9.3
The following changes were made in RiverSMART 9.3:
RiverSMART Batch Mode
A RiverSMART “batch mode” was introduced to allow you to run without seeing the user interface. This initial implementation allows a small subset of RiverSMART functionality including opening a study and simulating scenarios. Additional commands will be added in the future

Warning About Informational Diagnostics
RiverSMART has been enhanced to provide a confirmation before simulating scenarios whose models have informational diagnostics enabled. This was added because simulating with informational diagnostics enabled can create large log files and slow down simulations.
In addition, an option “Warn if the model has informational diagnostics enabled” checkbox was added to the RiverSMART Model event. It enables control on a per-model basis whether warning should be posted about informational diagnostics.
You will need to open each model in RiverWare 9.3 and re-save it to use this feature.
Bug and Issue Fixes
The following issues were addressed:
• RW-5853: The MRM Configuration was not always saving changes in RiverSMART.
• RW-6336: When regenerating scenarios, inactive scenarios were not always displayed correctly.
• RW-6955: The RdfToExcelExecutable.exe included with RiverSMART crashed when there were multiple slot types in the RDF file.
• RW-6971: In RiverSMART, a crash could occur when reopening a newly built study.
In addition, the following issues were tested and closed as they no longer exist or were not reproducible.
