Off-Channel Reservoirs in Lower Colorado River Model (LCRA) and Associated Benefits

Off-channel reservoirs were added to the lower river portion of the LCRA RiverWare model. Model scenarios were explored to determine the benefits seen by the Highland Lakes in terms of stored water savings due to the capture and storage of unused water in the off-channel reservoirs during times of storm flows or undiverted water.
