ABSTRACT
Since Truckee RiverWare model first use in 2004, the capabilities, acceptance, and applications of the Truckee modeling suite has steadily grown to the point that in 2016 it has become central to the daily accounting and operations under TROA, become the definitive planning tool in the basin, and universally accepted by managers and stakeholders throughout the basin.  This presentation will briefly chronicle the history of the development and usage of the models, then elaborate on lessons learned both technical and programmatic from the process, and finally discuss what the future holds for the models.
