ABSTRACT
A real-time RiverWare model was developed for the White River to assist regulators in making release decisions. It was developed to integrate into the HEC CWMS (Corp Water Management System). CWMS is used for real-time operations it includes the following program: HEC-MFP, HEC-HMS, RiverWare, and HEC-RAS. These programs are configured to share information between them and to run seamlessly. RiverWare will come up with a release schedule, which will then be adjusted by the regulator. There are many tools that can be used to assist in this process, and aid the regulators with the inaccuracy they face in the real world.
