Colorado River Salinity Modeling for Minute No. 242 Salinity Differential

ABSTRACT
Hydros has developed a RiverWare model of the Lower Colorado River from Imperial Dam to the Northerly International Boundary with the Republic of Mexico (NIB). This model assists the Water Operations staff at the Yuma Area Office with meeting the annual salinity differential as defined under IBWC Minute No. 242 of the International Treaty of 1944. Recently Hydros as enhanced the model to improve projections of salinity arriving at Imperial Dam and to included uncertainty analysis.
