Specify settings regarding model save:
Lock Model when Open: Specify if the model file should be locked when the model is opened. A locked model cannot be edited by other instances of RiverWare or other users.
Save Outputs in Model File: Specify how output values are saved in the model file.
Automatic Backup

Control if and when the model automatically saves
Workspace
Initial Appearance
(Model File)
Specify how the model should appear when it first opens including the View, Location, and initial global timestep scroll.
Docked Panels Initial Appearance
(Settings File)
Configure the start-up behavior of the workspace docked panels including the object list, toolbar, run controls, and animation controls
Lock Objects
(Model File)
Lock Objects on Model Load: Specify if object icon position on the workspace should be locked. Note, this is only on model load; the lock icon can still be toggled locked/unlocked.
Simulation View - Canvas Display
(Model or Settings File)
Change the simulation view background color, text color and font. Also specify the location of the settings to use, either Model File or Settings File. See Save Location in User Interface for more information.
Simulation View - Canvas Properties

Specify the simulation canvas width and height.
Accounting View - Canvas Display
(Model or Settings File)
Change the accounting view background color, text color and font. Also specify the location of the settings to use, either Model File or Settings File. See Save Location in User Interface for more information.
Accounting View - Canvas Properties

Specify the accounting canvas width and height.
Windows
Application Font
(Settings File)
Change the font, style, size and effects of RiverWare windows. Note, the SCT, workspace, plotting and RPL fonts have separate font controls.
Numeric Display

Control the display of numeric values throughout the interface:
Show Commas in Numbers
Synchronize Series Slot Scrolling on Model Load: This setting specifies if the scrolling is enabled or disabled on model load. Controls on the slot display can toggle the synchronize setting.
Simulation
Run Parameters
(Model File)
Specify settings that affect the run including water quality, maximum slot resets, run cycles, post-run dispatching, maximum rule executions, and water year start month.
Optimization
Optimization Files
(Model File)
Specify settings that control which files are written as part of an optimization run.
Run Parameters
(Model File)
Configure parameters affecting the optimization run including Non-interactive error checking and many CPLEX and goal parameters.
Slots
Slot Display
(Model File)
Specify how the Open Slot and Slot Viewer windows show selection statistics, notes, and descriptions. Change the settings in the Settings Manager to affect the slot displays. They can be changed from the slot displays but do not affect the selection in the Settings Manager.
RPL
RPL Parameters

Configure RPL Parameters including tolerance, max iterations, and RPL set save location
RPL Display
(Model or Settings File)
Modify how RPL expressions are displayed including font, color, line breaks, element numbers, and highlighting. Also specify the location of the settings to use, either Model File or Settings File. See Save Location in User Interface for more information.
Plotting
Default Fonts and Background
(Settings File)
Specify the default fonts and background color to use for NEW plots. Each plot can then be customized.
Default Curve Configuration
(Settings File)
Specify the default curve configuration for NEW plots. Each curve can then be customized.
Default Axis Configuration
(Settings File)
Specify the default axis configuration for NEW plots. Each axis can then be customized.
Default Axis Override
(Model File)
Specify the default axis override for NEW plots. Each axis can then be customized.
Default Grid Configuration

Specify the default grid configuration for NEW plots. Each grid can then be customized.
