The Data Analysis Tool (DAT) is used to perform complex data analysis and visualization, including analysis of RDF results of multiple run traces and creation of multiple linear regressions of series slots. A screenshot is shown in Figure 7.1 for a sample Ensemble Data Set with over-plotted lines for each trace. This chapter describes the Data Analysis Tool and how to use it.

Note: Previously, the Data Analysis Tool (DAT) was called the Ensemble Data Tool (EDT). It was generalized to the DAT terminology to reflect that you can analyze non-ensemble data.
